AntoftDesign GardenRipper Drone
3D print your own 2inch or 2,5inch Drone frame, fly it, crash it, and reprint new parts as much as needed.
The GardenRipper is designed and tested for fast pace action in Gardens and Parks.
The frame is easy to print with a FDM printer like the Prusa Mk3. No need for support and wasted materials when printing. It's fun to build and fly. The only thing you need to buy are some screws, a battery strap and the suggested list of electronics.
Flight Controller and ESC AIO
14mm Camera or HD recording Camera, VTX
Mini/Nano Receiver that fits your transmitter
Battery 550mha 3s
You can find both cheaper and more expensive parts, but the listed parts have been tested with the frame and fall into the upper-mid price range. The Frame has great flight characteristics with this setup, and great for learning to fly acro.
The frame can be printed in most materials but for the Base I suggest a more stiff material like PLA. You could also consider printing in something more premium like a carbon fiber enhanced material such as the XT-CF20. For the prop guards i recommend printing with a semi flex like the Flex Fill 98A.
The frame weight is ca. 95 g. with screws. Its easy to tune with the correct prop-motor combination, and delivers a very stable flight characteristics. You can fit it with an HD recording system like the Runcam Split or Hybrid, or you can save weight and fit it with one of the smaller 14mm micro racer cameras.
If this is your first drone you build don't hesitate to contact me on discord to get additional support, there are also some great channels on youtube that can help you get started with the hobby.
