AntoftDesign Trainer Drone
3D print your own 5 inch drone frame, fly it, crash it, and reprint new parts as much as needed.
The Trainer Drone is designed to be a great entry drone to the fantastic world of FPV (First Person View).
The frame is easy to print with a FDM printer like the Prusa Mk3. No need for support and wasted materials when printing. It's fun to build and fly. The only thing you need to buy are some screws, a battery strap and the suggested list of electronics.
Mini/Nano Receiver that fits your transmitter
You can find both cheaper and more expensive parts, but the listed parts have been tested with the frame and fall into the upper-mid price range. The Frame has great flight characteristics with this setup, but because of its light weight can be a bit nimble in windy weather, to eliminate the bubbles, just put larger motors on with a minimum of 2205 stator size.
The frame can be printed in most materials but for the arms I suggest a more stiff material like PLA. You could also consider printing in something more premium like a carbon fiber enhanced material such as the XT-CF20
The frame weighs ca. 70g with screws
If this is your first drone you build don't hesitate to contact me on discord to get additional support, there are also some great channels on youtube that can help you get started with the hobby.
